The Hennes Paintings.
This page contains images of original paintings rescued from 49 Gidley Way ("Cuckfield") by Cath Riley before the house was demolished in 2019. These paintings were done in the late 1940s-1950s by Hubert Hennes and his wife Hilary.
Hubert Herman Hennes born 1907 (London), died 1986 and Hilary Margaret Hennes (nee Miller) born 1919, died 1993.
The paintings were photographed and enhanced by Chris Pym except the final two which are from Brian Lowe.
